Quick Tips:

1. Historic building materials can often be dried and saved (don’t tear out your old lime plaster or woodwork yet)! Historic plaster is made with lime, which is mold and mildew-resistant, and often survives flooding – unlike drywall.
2. Keep the air moving!
3. Heirloom textiles may also be salvaged, if well-rinsed with clean water and air dried.
